Lynn Shepherd, MD, FRCSC makes a commitment to women in her care at Broadview OBGYN in Ottawa, Ontario: They will have the knowledge to make only the most well-informed health care choices.
Dr. Shepherd received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in physiology from McGill University in Montreal, and she followed this with a medical degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. She then completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Queen’s University and became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2010.
Dr. Shepherd advocates for minimally invasive surgery whenever possible to reduce perioperative pain and recovery time. She’s the medical director of the Dysplasia Clinic at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, and she has extensive experience treating cervical dysplasia, vulvovaginal dystrophy, and vaginal atrophy.
Dr. Shepherd also has a full obstetrics practice focused on providing quality patient-centered care as women and their partners embark on expanding their family.
