InterConsultation™ – an exhaustive medical analytical process completed by a multidisciplinary team of Harvard affiliated doctors who analyze the member’s medical information and tests and redo all pathology. Based on this analysis, the appropriate specialist is selected from the Best Doctors database of 50,000 physicians to confirm diagnosis and treatment options to the member and his or her treating physician. A registered nurse assigned to the case, becomes the member’s personal advocate throughout the process.
2. The InterConsultation service also includes access to Best Doctors 360° Navigator™ – a unique program designed to provide members with healthcare information individually tailored to meet their needs. The Best Doctors 360° Navigator™ was designed to bridge the knowledge gap in healthcare services. Our overburdened system has led to fragmentation – patients feel alone, scared and unsure. With the Best Doctors 360° Navigator™ our members become empowered through information, guidance and one-on-one ongoing support.
3. FindBestDoc™ – Best Doctors will find a specialist if the member does not have one and will arrange referrals*, appointments and accommodations if out of town travel is necessary.
