management as well as having a registered nurse assigned to
your case, becoming your personal advocate throughout your
treatment and care process.
In addition to the La Vie Point One Care program, clients
have access to Best Doctors® services. Since 1989, Best
Doctors has been connecting seriously ill Canadians and their
treating physicians with world renowned specialists, to confirm
the right diagnosis and offer the right treatment options.

The 4-step Best Doctor’s process ensures you get the
right diagnosis and the proper treatment…
- InterConsultation™ – an
exhaustive medical analytical process completed by a multidisciplinary
team of Harvard affiliated doctors who analyze the member’s
medical information and tests and redo all pathology. Based
on this analysis, the appropriate specialist is selected
from the Best Doctors database of 50,000 physicians to confirm
diagnosis and treatment options to the member and his or
her treating physician. A registered nurse assigned to the
case, becomes the member’s personal advocate throughout
the process.
- The InterConsultation service also includes access to
Best Doctors 360° – a unique
program designed to provide members with healthcare information
individually tailored to meet their needs. The Best Doctors
360° was designed to bridge the knowledge gap in healthcare
services. Our overburdened system has led to fragmentation

will find a specialist if the member does not have one and
